Central Asian Electric Power Corporation JSC from January to June 2017 got net income in amount of 11,9 bln KZT (current 325,56 for 1 USD) that is 1,6 times more than previous year as presented in the consolidated financial statements of the Company according to IFRS.

At July 20, 2017, during the international exhibition Expo-2017 in Astana, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Korean Electric Power Corporation and Central Asian Electric Power Corporation JSC. The parties are considering the possibility of cooperation in the development of alternative energy sources and new energy technologies.

In Astana within frames of EXPO-2017 conference «Transforming the Energy Ecosystem» arranged by company General Electric took place. The discussion were participated by managers of largest energy companies of the region, representatives of state bodies and leading experts.
