Almaty hosted the 48th meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council with the participation of heads of energy agencies of member countries of the Council.

Petropavlovsk CHP-2 SEVKAZENERGO JSC is now even powerful: new turbine unit K-63-90 commissioned into operations at the CHP. Installed electric capacity of Petropavlovsk CHP-2 amounts to 455 MW. Commissioning new turbine unit will allow to generate more than 500 mln kWth of electricity within the year.
