In 2008, he graduated with distinction from the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications majoring in Thermal Power Plants. From 2009 to 2011 he studied under the Bolashak international program at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and obtained a Master of Science degree majoring in Management of Renewable Energy Sources.

In 1992, he graduated from the Pavlodar Industrial Institute with a degree in Automatic Control of Electric Power Systems.

In 2010, he graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting with a degree in Business Economics.
