On July 14, 2018, the Central Asian Electrical Power Corporation JSC (CAEPCO) and its subsidiaries – Akmolinskaya EDC JSC, AEDC-Energosbyt LLP, and Astanaenergosbyt LLP have conducted “Environmental Task Force” coincided with the 20th Anniversary of Astana and the 10th Anniversary of the Corporation. This campaign took place in Akmola oblast.

Participants of the environmental task force were more than 200 employees of the Group of CAEPCO Companies and the representatives of Akimat of Tselinograd district of Akmola oblast headed by Akim – Malgazhdar Tatkeyev.    

“Within the limits of “Rukhani zhangyru” State Program directed to modernization of social consciousness, “Tugan zher” Project is implemented in Kazakhstan. This process aims at positive changes in the society; modernization should begin at home. Therefore, the company conduct a social campaign in support of the native shore in honor and the 20^th Anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan”, - said Nail Saifullin, General Director of Akmolinskaya EDC JSC.  

In the course of the “Environmental Task Force”, over 20 tons of solid household waste were removed from the Nura River banks at 20 kilometers from Akmol aul of Akmola region.

This place is the favorite leisure zone of capital townspeople and local citizens who, unfortunately, remain, in general, household waste: plastic and glass bottles, plastic bags, and organic waste.

In the course of this campaign, the employees of the Group of CAEPCO Companies removed the waste from the coastal area of the Nura River from both sides, filled up pits from old fire-pits, and installed billboards “STOP! Take care that there is clean!”, “Take your waste!”.
