JSC “JSC North-Kazakhstan Regional Electric Distribution Company” will allocate 1,32 bln. KZT for the reconstruction and modernization of equipment under the Company’s Investment Program in 2018. 

Most of the funds, i.e. 461,2 mln. KZT, will be spent by the power engineers on the reconstruction of cable and overhead transmission lines. In total, 15 km of cable lines, 10 km of overhead lines of 10 kV and 26 km of overhead lines of 0,4 kV will be replaced in Petropavlovsk in 2018, and 18 km of overhead lines of 0,4 kV - in the districts of the region.

In addition, of the most large-scale projects in 2018, JSC “North-Kazakhstan REDC”plans to reconstruct the equipment of 10/0,4 kV Transformer Substations reconstructing buildings, and reconstructing 110 kV outdoor switch-gears substations in the region, introducing an automatic system for commercial accounting of power consumption, and buying dispatching equipment with a SKADA System and a new 16,000 kVA Transformer.

“Reconstruction of power transmission networks and power equipment will allow the Company to increase the reliability of electricity supply to consumers, to reduce network wear and the number of technological violations, and to reduce power losses. We have been engaged in the introduction of introducing an automatic system for commercial accounting of power consumption not for the first year, which is the essential condition for the Company to enter the wholesale electricity market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Some measuring systems are to be installed at the inputs of substations in the region and at the 0,4 kV of town transformer substations, distribution points and complete transformer substations that will allow controlling the electricity transportation and distribution to a high accuracy”, — " the General Director of JSC “North-Kazakhstan REDC”Anatoliy Kazanovskiy notes.
