The heating season has been started in the northern regions: since September of 12 in Petropavlovsk, since September of 14 in Ekibastuz and since September of 17 in Pavlodar.

For power engineers, this is a kind of the intermediate result of the preparatory work carried out at combined heat and power plants and heat supply networks.

During the summer period, tens of projects for reconstruction and modernization were implemented in Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Petropavlovsk. Prior to the beginning of the heating season in the regions, press tours were held, organized jointly with the Department of the Committee for Natural Monopoly Regulation of each region. Power engineers familiarized representatives of state authorities and mass media with implemented projects at facilities.

This year, in the summer, a special emphasis was placed on public awareness efforts with Apartment Owners Cooperatives and apartment owners in relation to the importance of preparing for the new season. That, of course, drew the attention of residents to the problems with a readiness passport heat engineers annually face in the first month of connection to heat supply.
