On September 26, 2018, with a view to collect information according to the Indicator “Connection to the power supply system” of the Subnational Rating “Doing Business”, the JSC North Kazakhstan Distribution Electronetwork Company was visited by international experts from the World Bank. The meeting was also attended by the heads of the State Institution “Territorial Department of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the RK Ministry of Energy for the North Kazakhstan Oblast and the State Institution “Department of Energy and Housing and Public Utilities of the North Kazakhstan Akimat.

Following the results of the meeting, experts noted the following positive points on the organization of work and the improvement of the customer service quality:

• operation of the consumer service centre designed to face-to-face reception of consumer requests concerning energy consumption, technological connections, effecting payments, creating a comfortable and ergonomic interaction environment, and improving the service efficiency;
• implementation of an automated process control system for technological connections of consumers;
• availability of an electronic capacity map on the Company’s website that displays information on the available capacities at substations of the JSC North-Kazakhstan Distribution Electronetwork Company;
• compliance of the Company to the International Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 confirmed by the presence of international certificates.

At the final meeting, prospects for the implementation of a WEB-portal for receiving requests and issuing technical specifications were announced, and the said portal will allow consumers to apply for technical specifications online, and to track applications and receive ready-made technical specifications.
