Every year World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5^th. Also on June 5^th Kazakhstan celebrates World Environment Day or Ecologist Day — a professional holiday of all ecologists, defenders of nature and specialists in environmental protection.

In SEVKAZENERGO JSC, environmental protection is one of the priorities, stipulated by the Company's development strategy. The Company's activities in environmental matters are carried out in accordance with the requirements of international quality, safety and environmental management standards.

Since 2009 in company within the framework of the investment program a plan for environmental and social action covering projects is being implemented, directed to improve environmental parameters of SEVKAZENERGO JSC enterprises.
