From September 11 to September 14, 2018, a mutual audit for Health, Safety and Environment was conducted. It was the fifth such event since 2016. The mutual audit became an excellent platform for the HSE Department of JSC CAEPCO for organizing various trainings and presentations.

The audit conducted at the enterprises of SEVKAZENERGO JSC was attended by employees of the occupational safety and health services and environmental protection departments of all the subsidiaries of JSC CAEPCO. Before starting the audit, a training was arranged for on the subject of “Identification of root causes using the methods of “Five “why” and the tree of causes” as well as a presentation on the subject of “Safety harnesses for a safe work at heights”.

For the purpose of a detailed verification, the participants were divided into 3 groups as follows: energy generation and thermal energy distribution; electrical energy distribution; ecology. In conducting the mutual audit, the participants found out the best practices used in SEVKAZENERGO JSC and shared their experience with their colleagues from the Northern Kazakhstan.

On the final day, in an interview on the corporate radio of SEVKAZENERGO JSC, the personnel of the HSE Department answered frequently asked questions about the occupational safety, health and ecology. “Our team is seeking a continuous improvement of its activities, so we do hope that subsequent mutual audits will also help us in improving our processes.
