An annual competition of scientific works for a corporate scholarship of PAVLODARENERGO JSC has started. The event has been organized by power engineers for the second year in a row and promises to become a good tradition in the matter of continuity of generations and the training of skilled young cadres.

The competition of scientific works is held to support talented and creatively active students, and to stimulate their research activities. Any third-year student of higher and secondary special educational institutions of the Pavlodar Oblast can become a participant.

Winners are paid a scholarship of PAVLODARENERGO JSC throughout the fourth year of their studies. The number of awarded scholarships is determined on an annual basis by the General Director of PAVLODARENERGO JSC.

Currently, the Company’s specialists have drawn up a list of research issues (projects), which has been sent to all universities and secondary special institutions of Pavlodar and other towns of the Oblast together with the terms of the participation and the period of the competition. Themes of the competition touch on the most pressing problems of production activity. In addition, students can offer their themes detailing the relevance and feasibility thereof in writing.

The procedure for examining scientific papers consists of two stages. The first stage is examination of works by the Company’s commission. The second one is a face-to-face defense of the best works by students, which will take place at PAVLODARENERGO.

The period of the competition will be from December 1, 2017 till May 31, 2018. By December 15 of this year, educational institutions should send all students’ applications to the General Director of PAVLODARENERGO. Executed scientific works duplicated in electronic form will be accepted by the Company until March 15, 2018.

В настоящий момент специалистами компании сформирован список тем научных работ, который вместе с условиями участия и сроками конкурса, разослан во все вузы и средне-специальные учреждения Павлодара и других городов области. Также вся информация о конкурсе студенческих научных работ расположена на сайте «ПАВЛОДАРЭНЕРГО», в разделе «Социальные программы». Темы конкурса затрагивают наиболее актуальные проблемы производственной деятельности. Кроме того, студенты могут предлагать свои темы, подробно обосновав их значимость и целесообразность в письменном виде.

Процедура рассмотрения научных работ состоит из двух этапов. Первый — экспертиза работ комиссией компании. Второй — очная защита лучших работ студентами, которая проходит в «ПАВЛОДАРЭНЕРГО».

Сроки проведения конкурса — с 1 декабря 2017 года по 31 мая 2018 года. К 15 декабря текущего года учебным заведениям необходимо направить все собранные заявки студентов на имя генерального директора АО «ПАВЛОДАРЭНЕРГО». Оформленные научные работы с дублированием в электронном виде принимаются компанией до 15 марта 2018 года.
