Participants of Veterans council of “PAVLODARENERGO” entered into list of winners of a competition dedicated to 35^th anniversary of veteran’s organization of Pavlodar. Songs “Valenki” and dance “Veselyi Goroshek” were one of the best in terms of performance and viewer’s choice and gave to its performers third place in the nomination “Amateur performance”. Second place in the competition was awarded to exhibition of creative works of our veterans. While Liliya Osipovna Brovikova was awarded by special diploma for hers wonderful handicrafts, which could be named as artwork. 

«70 participants were in the first stage, among which 22 were selected for today’s competition, - said Alla Akimova, responsible secretary of the Council of Veterans of Pavlodar. – Winners will take part in gala-concert, which will take place on 6th October and upon results of which teams for regional competition will be selected».

— Both performances, were prepared for this event, we were selecting and working very hard, - says Nina Mironenko, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of JSC “PAVLODARENERGO”. – the Idea of the dance was started from the spotted costumes. Last year at celebration of anniversary of Ekibastuz CHP we’ve liked a much a performance where, participants were dancing in the similar costumes. It was decided to suit clothes and to create a performance. Skirts were aerial, light, perky and our dance was created in the same manner, which collected mixture from cheerful modern songs. While process of selecting a song for second performance was harder. It was hard to define which song to select that will satisfy all participants. During joint journey at motor vessel at Irtysh we’ve heard “Valenki”. And we’ve decided – here it is! Words of the song were know by everybody, our dress was accompanied with important element of winter costume: our singers perform in felt boots.

Strength of the art of our veterans – not only in singing and dancing skills but also and other creative directions. Exhibition of works of veterans of “PAVLODARENERGO” was one of the best among others, presented by veterans organizations of micro districts and enterprises of Pavlodar.
