Pavlodar CHP-2 on February 1st commemorates its 55th anniversary. Pavlodar CHP-2 – one of the first power plants in Kazakhstan with high-pressure equipment.
First power unit of the station was commissioned on February 1, 1961. It was a landmark event in the life of the city. In May 1963, with commissioning of turbine #3 and boilers #3 and #4 Pavlodar CHP-2 reached its projected capacity – 100 MW, 308 Gcal/h.
It stands to mention that in the PAVLODARENERGO group of companies there will two anniversaries during the year: 45th anniversary of establishing Pavlodar heat networks LLP (October 1) and 60th anniversary from beginning of Ekibastuz CHP operation (December 4).
