“Today, expecting the celebration of the 26^th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a formal opening of a new hostel for 200 energy students has been held in Pavlodar. Such gift to the Pavlodar Assembly College has been prepared by JSC Central-Asian Power Energy Company with the assistance of its subsidiary company – PAVLODARENERGO JSC as part of the performance of the memorandum on joint implementation of social projects entered into between the Akimat of the Pavlodar Oblast and JSC Central-Asian Power Energy Company”.

The parties, which signed the memorandum, were represented by the Akim of the Pavlodar Oblast Bulat Bakauov and the Vice-President in Operations of JSC Central-Asian Electric Power Corporation Duisenbai Turganov at the opening.

“This is a wonderful gift for the Independence Day of our Republic”, - said Bulat Bakauov. – “Due to the implementation of such projects, each of the actual students can make sure that perfect conditions are being created for promising and motivated young people in our region. The main thing is to progress, to study, and you will certainly become a sought-after professional”.

The Memorandum focused on the sphere of the corporate social responsibility of business was signed in 2016 and is designed for until 2018 inclusive. The erection of the student hostel became the first step in the implementation of the document. And a very significant step. The building built from scratch is currently completely ready to receive the first occupiers. There is a quality repair and a reliable furniture, double and triple rooms with separate toilet facilities, laundries and kitchens on each floor equipped with all necessary household appliances; a gym and a dance hall, a system of electronic pass entries to rooms and a video surveillance system in the corridors. All these conditions will make the students’ living as comfortable as possible. The hostel is designed for 200 seats. When settling in, the priority right will be granted to those who study with specializations in “Welding Practice” (electric and gas welder) and “Power Supply” (erection electrician of electrical networks and electrical equipment).

As part of the Memorandum, PAVLODARENERGO JSC has planned another two large-scale social projects: construction of a high-rise residential building for the employees of the PAVLODARENERGO Group of Companies and participation in the construction of a pool in the Usolsk Microdistrict where PAVLODARENERGO JSC is carrying out the laying of external communications networks.
