“Sevkazenergo” JSC Policy in the Field of Quality, Safety, Health Protection and Environmental Protection /proprietary information/
In 2010, management of “SEVKAZENERGO” JSC made decision on certification of the whole heat and power generating and transmitting complex for the compliance with international environmental standards ISO 14000. It also plans to conduct certification for compliance with international quality standard ISO 9000 requirements, occupational safety and health protection standard OHSAS 18000.
“Sevkazenergo” JSC policy in the field of quality, safety, health protection and environmental protection is aimed at:
- improvement of quality of power supply to consumers;
- preservation of people’s health, ensuring safe labour conditions and environmental safety of electric power production;
- growth of company’s capitalization due to ensuring safe and reliable production of electric and thermal power;
- integrated approach to natural energy resources utilization.
“Sevkazenergo” JSC policy was developed in accordance with the standards of ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 series.
“Sevkazenergo” JSC is the manufacturer of electric and thermal power, which objectively determines effect of manufacturing activity of the company on health of its personnel and environment.
Listed below are the fundamental provisions of "Sevkazenergo" JSC management system policy:
- preservation of life and health of “Sevkazenergo” JSC employees and representatives of outside agencies located in its territory;
- meeting of the corresponding legislative and regulatory requirements connected with risks and performance in the field of quality, occupational health, safety and environmental aspects;
- meeting of the quality, occupational safety, labor protection and environmental requirements upon plans development;
- implementation of requirements of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 at all stages of production of electric and thermal power;
- improvement of quality of operation and repair of equipment, reduction of occupational traumatism rate, reduction of the total volume of emissions and wastes produced in the course of energy production;
- carrying out of measures aimed at reduction and prevention of accidents rate;
- improvement of operational procedures of power production process;
- openness and accessibility of information for all interested parties;
- ongoing training of company’s employees.
