Members of the Board of Directors of “CAEPCO” JSC in August 2017 visited generating objects of the Corporation in the regions. Within a frames of the visit delegation has familiarized with investment program implementation, according to which production facilities suffer modernization and reconstruction. 

The members of the Board of Directors started their visit from Pavlodar CHP-3, which largest energy generating asset of the Corporation. Installed capacity of station amounts to 540 MW. CHP-3 is one of the advanced station in Kazakhstan: since 2009 its generating equipment was renovated by 70,4%. At the moment works for reconstruction of turbine #6 are conducted at the station. Modernization of the station will continue till 2020.

In Petropavlovsk members of the Board of Directors visited Petropavlovsk CHP-2, installed capacity of which reached 541 MW since last year. Since 2009 equipment of the station was renovated by 49,7%. Last year at CHP-2 new turbine unit #6 was put into operations, also boiler unit # 12 was reconstructed. At the moment the enterprise performs activities for modernization of open distribution unit for 110 kV and modernization of turbine unit #2 and other works aimed to increase of reliability of the station operations.

During visit to generating assets of “CAEPCO” JSC it was mentioned that growth of volumes of production of electric and heat energy was able as a consequence of implementation of projects within the frames of the investment program. Modernization promotes growth of energy efficiency of generating assets.
